Your little ones 'once' soft bottom will appear red, irritated, rough and moist. Fungal Nappy Rash can be painful and uncomfortable for babies, so you may notice that your baby is unsettled, irritable and not sleeping well. If the rash looks particularly severe and does not improve after a few days, it may have become fungally infected.

The signs of Nappy Rash include:

  • Generally a red burn-like rash, slightly rough and scaly.

The signs of Fungal Nappy Rash include:

  • Inflamed skin - which can be bright red and shiny with sharp outlined patches.
  • Blistering - often the skin may have small white blisters or have white spots on adjacent skin.

If your baby is experiencing any or all of these symptoms, then head down to your local pharmacy for help. Early treatment is important.
