Ringworm symptoms

Ringworm will look like a circular patch of skin which will appear pink to red with a raised scaly border. The ring spreads outwards and eventually the centre will clear, leaving a red ring.

Here's what to look for:

  • Rings may multiply, grow and eventually merge together
  • Rings will feel slightly raised to touch
  • Rings can be itchy underneath

If you are experiencing any or all of these symptoms, then head down to your local pharmacy for help. Early treatment is important, as if left untreated - ringworm can stick around and spread to other parts of the body.
